ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management
ISO 9001 benefits for your business
An ISO 9001 certificate shows customers that you run your quality in a structured way. It supports tenders and supplier checks, and the work behind it reduces errors and risk. With Zertify you can have it online within 4 hours after passing and payment.
01: Overview
ISO 9001 benefits at a glance
ISO 9001:2015 is the world's leading standard for quality management systems. It helps an organisation consistently deliver products and services that meet customer requirements and regulatory obligations.
The standard does the work inside your company. The certificate makes that work visible to people outside it. Both sides create value.
- Customer trust
- A neutral certificate tells customers that you manage quality with a system, not by chance.
- Access to tenders
- Tender documents and supplier questionnaires often ask for a quality management certificate. You can answer with proof.
- Internal efficiency
- Defined processes and clear responsibilities mean less rework and fewer misunderstandings.
- Lower risk
- The standard asks you to assess risks and opportunities systematically, so problems are seen earlier.
- Verifiable proof
- Every Zertify certificate can be checked publicly by number and QR code.
02: Customers
Customer trust and access to tenders
Customers cannot inspect your internal processes before they buy. They look for signals. A recognised standard is one of the clearest signals a small or medium business can give.
Procurement teams use the same logic. When they compare several offers, a quality certificate lets them tick a box quickly. Without it, your offer may need extra explanation or may be set aside.
| Situation | What the certificate gives you |
|---|---|
| Supplier questionnaire | A clear answer to the question about quality management |
| Tender documents | Evidence you can attach when a quality certificate is requested |
| First order from a new customer | A neutral signal before they know your work |
| Review by an existing customer | A documented system you can point to when they ask how you keep quality consistent |
Requirements differ from one tender to the next. Always read what the buyer asks for before you rely on any certificate.
03: Operations
Efficiency and risk reduction inside the company
The standard follows a simple logic. You understand your situation, set direction, plan, run your processes and check the results. Each step has a practical payoff.
Know your context (clause 4)
You write down who your customers are, what they expect and which rules apply. This avoids surprises and focuses your effort.
Set a policy and objectives (clauses 5 and 6)
Leadership defines a quality policy and measurable objectives. Everyone knows what good looks like.
Assess risks and opportunities (clause 6)
You look at what could go wrong and what could go better, before it costs money.
Control your processes (clauses 7 and 8)
Resources, competence and process steps are defined. Work depends less on one person remembering how it is done.
Measure and improve (clauses 9 and 10)
You monitor performance and act on what you find. Improvement becomes a habit, not a separate project.
The result is a company that is easier to manage, easier to hand over and easier to grow.
04: Marketing
Using the certificate in your marketing
A certificate has no value if nobody sees it. Put it where buyers decide: on your website, in offers and tender submissions, and in your email signature.
The verification link is what makes it credible. Every Zertify certificate has a number and a QR code. A prospect can open the public verification page and confirm that the certificate is real, who it was issued to and whether it is valid.
State what you hold in plain words: an ISO 9001:2015 certificate issued by G6 Agency AG under licence from SICE, based on an online self-assessment. Clear wording builds more trust than big claims.
05: Zertify
How Zertify gets you the certificate
You start with an online self-assessment of 30 yes/no questions. You pass with 20 of 30. The assessment is free and needs no registration.
After you pass and pay, the certificate is issued by G6 Agency AG under licence from SICE (Swiss Institute of Certification and Education) within 4 hours. SICE reviews every assessment before the certificate is issued. The first year costs CHF 599 (€599), and every following year a lower yearly fee applies. The certificate is valid for 3 years and is confirmed every year with a short online re-audit. It is a yearly subscription that you can cancel at any time for the end of the year.
There is no on-site audit and no consulting package. You get a certificate you can show, send and verify the same day.
06: Routes
Choosing the route that fits your customers
Two routes lead to an ISO 9001 certificate. You can use the Zertify online route, or the classic route with an on-site audit by a certification body. The benefits described above come from the standard and from how you use it. The routes differ in effort, time and cost.
| Aspect | Zertify | Classic route |
|---|---|---|
| Method | Online self-assessment, 30 yes/no questions | On-site audit by a certification body |
| Time to certificate | Within 4 hours after passing and payment | Usually weeks to months (indicative) |
| Price | CHF 599 (€599) for the first year, then a lower yearly fee; valid 3 years | Quoted individually by the certification body |
| Verification | Public, by number and QR code | Depends on the certification body |
If a specific customer or tender prescribes a route, check that requirement first. If not, the online route gives you the certificate quickly and at a known price.
