ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management

ISO 9001 online: your certificate within 4 hours

Complete a self-assessment of 30 yes/no questions, pay, and receive your ISO 9001 certificate within 4 hours. There is no on-site audit and no wait for an appointment. Every certificate is issued by G6 Agency AG under licence from SICE and can be verified publicly.

01: Process

How to get ISO 9001 online, step by step

The Zertify route runs entirely in your browser. You do not need an account to buy. This is the sequence from the first click to the finished certificate.

  1. Start the self-assessment

You answer 30 yes/no questions about how your company manages quality. The assessment is free and needs no registration.

  2. Reach the pass threshold

You pass with 20 of 30 points. The result shows at once whether you can continue to the certificate.

  3. Pay

The price is 599 CHF (599 EUR) in the first year, then 399 CHF (399 EUR) per year including the yearly online re-audit.

  4. Receive your certificate

G6 Agency AG issues the certificate under licence from SICE within 4 hours after you have passed and paid. SICE reviews every assessment before the certificate is issued.

  5. Verify and share

Your certificate carries a number and a QR code. Anyone can check it publicly.

The certificate is valid for 3 years. Each year a short online re-audit confirms that your quality management is still in place.

02: Preparation

What your company needs to prepare

ISO 9001:2015 is the world's leading standard for quality management systems. It helps an organisation deliver products and services that meet customer requirements and regulatory obligations. It rests on seven principles: customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management.

The self-assessment follows the key requirements of the standard. If you can answer the points below from your own documents, you are well prepared.

Context of the organisation
You know your market, your interested parties and the scope of your quality management. This is clause 4 of the standard, and it is written down.
Quality policy and objectives
Leadership (clause 5) sets a quality policy. Planning (clause 6) turns it into measurable objectives.
Risks and opportunities
You assess risks and opportunities systematically, not only when a problem occurs.
Defined processes
Your core processes are described and controlled. Clause 8, Operation, covers how you deliver your product or service.
Resources and competence
People, equipment and know-how are in place. Clause 7, Support, asks you to show that your staff are competent for their tasks.
Monitoring and improvement
You measure performance and act on the results. Clauses 9 and 10 cover evaluation and continual improvement.

The best person to answer is someone who knows how the company really works. In a small business that is usually the owner or the person in charge of quality. Keep your policy, process descriptions and objectives at hand.

03: Self-assessment

The self-assessment: 30 questions, 20 to pass

Each question can be answered with yes or no. The questions cover the requirements listed above. Answer as things are today, not as you plan them to be.

You need 20 of 30 points to pass. If you are not there yet, the questions show what a quality management system has to cover, so you know where to work first.

Nothing is charged before you have passed. You decide about payment only once you know the result.

04: Comparison

ISO 9001 online or on-site audit: time and cost

The classic route means an audit at your premises by a certification body. It suits some companies. For many small and medium businesses, the online route is simply faster and easier to plan. The table compares the two. Figures for the classic route are indicative and differ by provider and company size.

05: Zertify

Where Zertify fits in

Zertify is an online platform that issues ISO certificates based on a self-assessment. The certificates are issued by G6 Agency AG under licence from SICE, the Swiss Institute of Certification and Education, and SICE reviews every assessment before the certificate is issued. For quality management, the standard is ISO 9001:2015. You can read more on the ISO 9001 page.

The price is 599 CHF (599 EUR) in the first year, then 399 CHF (399 EUR) per year including the yearly online re-audit. Prices include 8.1% Swiss VAT for customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. If you certify several standards, you get 20% off for 2 standards and 30% off for 3 or more. The discount also applies to the yearly fee.

Billing is an automatic yearly subscription. You can cancel at any time in your customer account, effective at the end of the current year. If you cancel, the certificate ends with the paid year.

06: Verification

A certificate anyone can verify

Every Zertify certificate has a number and a QR code. Customers, partners and procurement teams can check it publicly on zertify.ch and see that it is genuine. You do not have to send documents or answer questions about it.

The yearly online re-audit keeps the certificate current. It is short and takes place online, so it does not interrupt your work.
